A Little Caesar’s pizza restaurant was held up at gunpoint Thursday, authorities said.

The robber took off with an undisclosed amount of money but did not hurt the clerk behind the counter, police said.

The suspect, who was wearing black and white clothing and a painter’s mask over his face, walked into the pizza shop on Los Angeles Avenue shortly after 4 p.m. and demanded money. Police have no suspects at this time.

Little Caesar’s employee Vince Piltz said the clerk who was held up went home somewhat shaken but safe. Piltz said the store remained open for business.

“I’m just keeping an eye out,” said Piltz, who said that the restaurant had not had a robbery in the year he has worked there. “It’s business as usual.”
