Old Settlers Society to Plant 2,000 Trees
As part of the city’s plans for its 75th anniversary celebration in 2000, members of the Old Settlers Historical Society will plant 2,000 trees.
To help out, the Tree Society of Orange County awarded the historical society a $350 grant.
Other events and programs also are being planned. A report on the party will be presented at 7:30 p.m. April 9 at a Community Services Commission meeting at City Hall.
