The public will get an opportunity tonight to hear from four potential golf course developers about their plans to build a local public course.
At its meeting, the City Council is expected to narrow the field to two companies, one of which will develop an 18- or 27-hole course in the northern part of the city.
With only four members present at earlier meetings, the council was not able to take action. The absent member, John M. Gullixson, said Monday he was concerned about negotiating a discount for Yorba Linda residents and that may decide how he votes.
The city expects to make $1.4 million from the new attraction.
The council meets tonight at 6:30 at City Hall, 4845 Casa Loma Ave. Information: (714) 961-7100.
