Three men were arrested early Monday in connection with a robbery at the Embassy Suites Hotel that left one employee injured, police said.

About 1 a.m., three men entered the hotel’s lobby, pistol-whipped an employee and took several hundred dollars, Police Sgt. Mark Irwin said.

Officers responding to the robbery in the 3100 block of East Frontera Street spotted the suspects’ car, which then rammed into a patrol car and caused minor damage, Irwin said. The officers weren’t injured, he said.

Two men were taken into custody shortly afterward, and the third fled. Officers searched the area for about an hour and captured a man hiding between two buildings nearby, Irwin said.

Arrested were Johnny Eric Turner, 21, of Compton; Ronald Lamont Myrick, 23, of Los Angeles; and Gary Lee Stewart, 21, of Compton. They were being held at Anaheim City Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail each.

The hotel employee was treated at an area hospital and released, and police said they recovered several hundred dollars.
