Jewish Network to Air ‘Blastoff!’ Family Series

The Jewish Television Network, seen locally on some cable systems, will air a six-episode family series, “Alef . . . Bet . . . Blastoff!”

The series uses puppet characters and human guest stars to teach about Jewish culture and history, beginning with Passover.

The series will air Sundays and Tuesdays at 7 p.m. on Century Cable and TCI Cable, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 p.m. on Continental Cable and 7 p.m. on Time-Warner Cable.
