Police Insignia Show to Benefit K-9 Unit

The Oxnard Peace Officers’ Assn. will sponsor the second annual Ventura County Law Enforcement Insignia Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.
The daylong event will be held at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center, 800 Hobson Way, and will feature buyers, sellers and traders of police memorabilia from as far away as Canada.
In addition to the multitudes of patches, badges, pins, hats, trading cards and decals, there will be a police K-9 demonstration.
Admission is $3, and all proceeds will benefit the Oxnard Police Department’s K-9 unit.
