Vigilantes Blanked Again by Tri-City

The Tri-City Posse shut out the Vigilantes for the second time in five games, winning, 3-0, Thursday in Pasco, Wash., to take the three-game series, two games to one.

Tri-City pitchers Jarred Ewen and Jeff Thomas limited the Vigilantes (11-14) to five hits. The Posse beat the Vigilantes, 4-0, Saturday in Mission Viejo.

Tri-City (12-13) scored two in the first, on a RBI groundout by former Southern California College player Ryan Seidel and a single by John Coats, and one in the third. In the third, Seidel singled, stole second, went to third on a groundout and scored on an error by Vigilante third baseman Sean Drinkwater.

Daniel Ehler (0-4) gave up seven hits in six innings for the Vigilantes. Vigilante infielder Bret Barberie was hit by a pitch in the wrist in the sixth inning. His wrist was X-rayed but results were not available.
