MORONGO VALLEY--A peek into the past and the “Smallest Parade in the World” are among activities at the 50th anniversary celebration of Fiesta Days, Friday-Aug. 31. Friday will feature a presentation on the city’s history. The parade, at 10 a.m. Saturday, will be three blocks long. There will also be arts, crafts and food booths; entertainment; volleyball and horseshoe games. OXNARD--The city’s annual salute to the sea, Maritime Days, includes various events through Sept. 28. An upcoming highlight is Classics by the Sea. Pre-World War II powerboats will be displayed dockside noon-4 p.m. Saturday and Aug. 31 at Peninsula Park, 3600 Peninsula Road. At 10 a.m. Aug. 31, the boats will parade in Channel Islands Harbor. MADERA--Birds, bikes and activities for tykes will be featured at the Madera District Fair.
