Volunteers Needed to Maintain Park Trails

Share

Volunteers with an affinity for trees, wildlife and wide-open spaces are needed to help maintain trails Sunday at Aliso/Wood Canyons Wilderness Park in Aliso Viejo.

The 3,500-acre county park is one of several in Orange County that has been left in its natural state, except for the trails that creep through its hills and wooded canyons.

Park rangers need volunteers to maintain those trails, doing whatever is needed to keep the trails clear, including cutting back undergrowth.

Aliso/Wood Canyons Wilderness is at 28373 Alicia Parkway in Alison Viejo. Volunteers should meet at the park gate at 9 a.m. Information: (714) 831-2790.
