Gunmen Burst Into Home; Resident Hurt in Holdup
- Share via
Three gunmen burst into a Hollywood home Monday morning, tied up a resident, demanded cash, then cut several of the man’s fingers with a knife after he told them he did not have any money, police said.
The man was not seriously injured and it was unclear if any property was taken in the 5:30 a.m. incident in the 1300 block of North Las Palmas Avenue, said Los Angeles Police Officer Angela Grant.
A second man was in the house at the time of the takeover robbery, but police were uncertain if he was a victim or an accomplice to the crime.
Anyone with information about the crime can call the Hollywood Division a (213) 485-2943.
