Mary E. Plymale; 50-Year Resident

Mary E. Plymale of Camarillo, a retired civil service employee with the Navy, died Tuesday in a local hospital following a brief illness. She was 63.

Plymale was born Nov. 6, 1934, in San Antonio, Texas, and lived in Ventura County for 50 years.

She was a member of the Third Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Camarillo.

Plymale worked at the Pacific Missile Test Center at Point Mugu and the Naval Construction Battalion Center Port Hueneme for a total of 33 years, retiring in 1985.

She is survived by three sons, Bill of Camarillo, Ken of Orem, Utah, and Tom of Wofford Heights, Calif., and 10 grandchildren.

Plymale was preceded in death by her husband, William, in 1975.

Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. today at Ted Mayr Funeral Home, Ventura.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Camarillo, with Bishop Kurt Blickenstaff officiating.
