Valley Sets Records With 127-67 Victory

Valley College set school records for points and three-pointers in a 127-67 rout of Hancock in a men’s basketball game on Tuesday night at Valley.
Gianandrea Marcaccini came off the bench to make six three-pointers without a miss and score 26 points for the Monarchs (7-3), who made 16 three-pointers and made 62% (47 for 76) of their shots.
Steve Eernisse scored 15 points, Ronnie Noel had 14 points and eight assists, and Pierre Elize and Leon Brisport each added 13 points for Valley, which is ranked 13th in the state.
Tyree Williams scored 12 points and Faheem Nelson had 11 points for the Monarchs.
WOMEN
Cal Lutheran 103, Pacific Christian 47--Katie Placido scored 28 points for the Regals (2-3).
Biola 62, The Master’s 59--Elizabeth Hansell and Jenifer Bennett each had 14 points for the Mustangs.
