Car Overturns When Driver Dodges Coyote
A Ventura woman escaped serious injury Monday when her car flipped after she swerved to avoid a coyote.
Lisa Crowe, 19, was driving on California 126 between Victoria Avenue and Main about 8:45 a.m. when the accident occurred, said CHP Officer Curt Rhyne.
Ventura firefighters, who were working out at a nearby park, hopped a fence and ran to her aid, but Crowe had crawled out of the car by the time they reached her, officials said.
Crowe was treated and released.
