3 Schools Win Grants for Ethics Programs

Three schools in the Centralia School District have each been awarded $2,250 grants to implement ethics education programs.

The schools are recipients of Orange County School to Career Coalition, Vision 2020 School Site grants.

George B. Miller Elementary School in La Palma will coordinate monthly ethics standards with the city; Walter Knott Elementary School in Buena Park will work with the Buena Park Chamber of Commerce to find business leaders to speak about ethics at monthly school assemblies; and San Marino Elementary School in Buena Park will involve the business community in providing opportunities for students to learn about ethics.
