Senior Citizens Sought to Tutor Children

If you’re a senior citizen and would like to help young children improve their learning skills, you might consider joining the Senior Outreach to Students program.
The Senior Center and the Cypress School District are collaborating on the program, which pairs seniors with elementary school children to help them with schoolwork.
The program is entering its second year at Swain Elementary School, 5851 Newman St.
An informational meeting on the program will be held at 9 a.m. Jan. 16 at the Cypress Senior Center, 9031 Grindlay St. Information: (714) 229-6776.
