Perreault, Robitaille Hit Slump, Not Net

Share

One reason why the Kings no longer lead the league in scoring is that their top two goal scorers, Yanic Perreault and Luc Robitaille, have struggled in December.

Perreault, who leads the team with 17 goals, is still getting shots (second on team with 106, behind Rob Blake’s 109), but he has only two goals in his last 10 games.

Robitaille, second with 13 goals, has not scored since Nov. 29, but he has come close several times with at least three attempts hitting a crossbar or post.

The Kings’ top goal scorer since Dec. 1 has been Blake, who has scored four of his seven goals over the last 10 games.
