Manning Leery of Hurt Knee

Peyton Manning is still recovering from a knee injury he suffered Dec. 6 in the Southeastern Conference championship game against Auburn, and Tennessee’s senior quarterback said there’s a chance he’ll have to sit out Friday’s Orange Bowl game in Miami against No. 2 Nebraska, even though the national championship could be at stake.

“If I’m not able to help the team, maybe I shouldn’t be in there,” he said.
