Western High Wins Diversity Honors
The California School Board Assn. has honored Western High School for its Building Bridges of Understanding Program, which promotes awareness of multicultural diversity.
The association bestows Golden Bell Awards to California schools having outstanding educational programs. In the past five years, three high schools in the Anaheim Union High School District have received the award.
School officials received the award in a ceremony this month at the Anaheim Hilton & Towers Hotel.
