Performance of Dodger and Angel players in the All-Star game Tuesday night:

MIKE PIAZZA

The Dodger catcher grounded to second against Randy Johnson in the second inning and walked against David Cone in the fourth. While Larry Walker was batting, Piazza was thrown out trying to take second after the ball got away from catcher Ivan Rodriguez.

JASON DICKSON

The Angel pitcher was one of three American League players not to appear in the game, joining Chicago outfielder Albert Belle and Baltimore pitcher Mike Mussina. For the National League, pitchers Rod Beck of San Francisco, Tom Glavine and Denny Neagle of Atlanta and Darryl Kile of Houston did not play.
