Fern Drive Student’s Poster Wins Contest

Danielle Lee, an 11-year-old Fern Drive Elementary School student who has won a number of art contests, has been named the recipient of yet another award.
The girl’s drawing, which features a “be kind to animals” theme, won the recent Orange County Animal Shelter’s poster contest.
The young artist has been named the winner of dozens of art contests in the last year.
Her teacher, Diane Dombrower, said her pupil’s work stands out in the classroom.
“She’s very, very artistic,” Dombrower said.
