State Seeks to Revoke Market’s Liquor License

Share

State officials are seeking to revoke the liquor license of a Covina market they allege has sold alcoholic beverages to underage customers eight times in three years.

And, at the request of the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, a judge has issued a temporary restraining order prohibiting Jay’s Market from selling alcohol.

A court hearing is scheduled for July 28 in Pomona Superior Court on a permanent injunction to prevent liquor sales at the market in the 800 block of Glendora Avenue.
