Marriott Puts Mark on Champs-Elysees

Marriott this month opened what it says is the only hotel actually located on the famous Champs-Elysees in Paris. The seven-story Paris Marriott, 70 Avenue des Champs-Elysees, under construction since 1995, is a short walk from the Arch of Triumph. It includes 210 rooms and suites, a restaurant, a bar and an interior garden courtyard. Room rates begin at about $300, double occupancy, plus tax. Reservations: (800) 228-9290.
