Secession, Charter to Top Lunch Agenda

Valley secession and city charter reform will be discussed at a Valley Industry and Commerce Assn. lunch meeting at which 15 committee chairmen will give status reports on Valley business issues.
Other topics on the agenda are Internet taxation and the possibility of an east-west mass transit system in the Valley.
The luncheon, which is open to the public, will be held from noon to 1:45 p.m. Aug. 6 at the Warner Center Hilton & Towers, located at 6360 Canoga Ave.
Admission is $25, with reservations due by Thursday.
VICA is a business advocacy group formed to encourage economic growth in the San Fernando Valley and to establish an agenda to guide the area’s business community.
