Kevin Young hit two two-run homers and the Pirates withstood three ninth-inning home runs by the Giants to earn a doubleheader split with a 10-7 victory over San Francisco on Sunday.

Pittsburgh’s Jose Guillen also hit a two-run home run in a six-run ninth inning before the Giants answered with their six-run ninth.

Pinch-runner Shawn Estes scored from third base on Marc Wilkins’ wild pitch in the bottom of the 13th inning of the first game, helping the Giants end a season-high three-game losing streak.

Al Martin went six for 12 with two doubles and four RBIs in the doubleheader.

In the first game, Brian Johnson opened the 13th with a double off Wilkins (6-2), and Estes took third on Rich Aurilia’s grounder before Bill Mueller walked.

Wilkins’ first pitch to Darryl Hamilton was in the dirt and skipped away from catcher Kendall, allowing Estes to score easily.

Doug Henry (3-4) pitched one scoreless inning for the win.
