Chabad to Hold Annual Fund-Raiser
Chabad of the Conejo will hold its 11th annual telephone fund-raising effort Aug. 10, organizers said.
Chabad, founded in 1979, oversees organizations and activities ranging from the Conejo Jewish Academy and the Gan Israel Summer Day Camp to Hanukkah festivals at area malls, crisis counseling and emergency and holiday food allocations.
The fund-raiser will begin at 9:30 a.m. and run 12 hours, organizers said.
Volunteers will telephone area residents to ask for financial support.
