Author to Lecture on Collisions of Cultures

Journalist and author Richard Rodriguez will present a two-lecture series entitled “A Collision of Cultures” on Monday.

The lectures, scheduled for 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., are part of Cal Lutheran University’s Fall Lecture Series.

In his morning lecture, titled “True West,” Rodriguez will explore the collision of cultures and points of view in California. In his evening lecture titled “Brown in Black and White,” he will talk about the many facets of the color brown.

Both lectures are co-sponsored by Cal Lutheran’s Multicultural and International Programs.
