Holiday Closings
Tuesday is Veterans Day. The following schedules will be in effect:
* City offices: Most city offices will be closed, except in Brea, Garden Grove, Laguna Hills, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, San Clemente and Westminster. City offices in Irvine and Villa Park will be closed Monday in observance of the holiday and will be open Tuesday.
* County, state and federal offices will be closed.
* County, state and federal courthouses will be closed.
* City and county libraries closed, except for the Mission Viejo City Library.
* Most banks and savings and loans will be closed.
* Schools: Public schools and Cal State Fullerton will be closed. Chapman University and UC Irvine will hold classes. Community colleges will be closed Monday in observance of the holiday and will be open Tuesday.
* Mail: There will be no mail delivery. All post offices will be closed, and mail deposited in mailboxes will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.
* Trash: No change from regular schedule.
* Buses: No change from regular schedule.
* Parks: All city and county parks and recreation facilities will be open during regular hours.
