Renaming LAX
Now one of the supervisors wants to name Los Angeles International Airport after Jimmy Stewart (Nov. 6)! Excuse me!
What of the aviation pioneers like Donald Douglas, Howard Hughes, James McDonnell, Jack Northrop and so many more who created an industry employing thousands, making this area famous around the world for its aircraft and aerospace.
The airport and international building should be dedicated to men of such foresight and stature.
