PEPPERDINE (3-0) at CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE (0-2), 7 p.m., KIEV (870)--Pepperdine is already halfway to its victory total (6-21) of last season and can start 4-0 for the first time since 1991-92. The Waves played their best game Monday in a 77-66 victory over favored Wisconsin and are shooting 52.6% from the field. Senior guard Gerald Brown leads Pepperdine with a 17-point average, having made nine of 15 three-point shots. The Waves’ other guard, junior Jelani Gardner, is averaging 11.7 points. Northridge, after losses to Arizona State and Oregon State, is at full strength for the first time. Forward Michael O’Quinn, who scored 26 against Arizona State, has been reinstated after serving a one-game disciplinary suspension. The Matadors beat Pepperdine last season in Malibu, 68-57.
