Despite missing a possible game-winning field goal for the second consecutive week in Sunday’s loss to Minnesota, Arizona kicker Kevin Butler retained the confidence of Cardinal Coach Vince Tobin.

“I’ve got no plans to make a change at this time,” Tobin said. “I’m disappointed that he missed the field goal, but he also kicked four out of five and kicked a 49-yarder to put us up by nine points five or six minutes earlier, and if we’d have picked up a first down in the last series, he’d have been viewed as a hero.”

The NFL’s belief that it can’t get a fair hearing in St. Louis over the city’s multimillion-dollar antitrust lawsuit was a recurring theme Monday as attorneys selected a jury. A 12-member jury, eight women and four men, was selected to hear the case. Testimony was set to begin today in the case, expected to last six to eight weeks. The lawsuit was filed because a $29-million relocation fee paid by the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission on behalf of the Rams in 1995 was later waived when the Raiders relocated to Oakland.
