Both the Indians and Orioles came out of Game 2 with injuries to key players. David Justice, Cleveland’s designated hitter, strained his left shoulder diving back to second on a pickoff play in the third and left for a pinch-hitter in the eighth. Brady Anderson, Baltimore’s center fielder, strained a groin running out a grounder in the fifth. Both players will be reexamined today and are tentatively expected to play in Game 3 Saturday night. . . . Cleveland first baseman Jim Thome was benched against lefty Key. Actually, Thome was benched because it’s Camden Yards. He is hitless in 19 at-bats in Baltimore this year, including three in Game 1.
