Gabrielino 19, Burbank 0--The Eagles’ backfield duo of Carlos Minor and Jason Coble combined for 129 yards rushing and three touchdowns against the Bulldogs at Burroughs High.
Gabrielino (3-1) scored on its first play when Minor (10 carries, 110 yards) went 88 yards down the right sideline for a touchdown.
Coble, who rushed for 119 yards in 15 carries, scored on a three-yard run in the second quarter and added a 43-yard touchdown run the fourth quarter.
Burbank (1-4) was led by Juni Williams, who rushed for 151 yards in 20 carries.
Burbank quarterback Clifford Lohner injured his leg in the second quarter and did not return.
