Marina, which lost its first game of the season Tuesday, travels to Newport Harbor today for a key Sunset League match.

Marina (5-1-3) defeated Newport Harbor (5-1-2) earlier this season, 1-0. The Sailors arrived late and had no time to warm up. Marina scored the game’s lone goal 30 seconds into the game.

Behind goalkeeper Erin Kennedy, Newport Harbor has recorded six shutouts this season. Marina is led by high-scoring forwards Emily Frederick and Toni Mora.

The game will be played at 3:15 p.m. at the Harper School Park on 18th St. in Costa Mesa.
