Nine plays later, Michael Morales plunged into the end zone on a quarterback sneak from the one-yard line for a 7-0 lead.

Two Saxon penalties allowed Century (2-4, 0-1) to look for the equalizer just before halftime.

The Saxons were flagged for two personal fouls as the Centurions marched to the Loara 15-yard line.

Century attempted a field goal, which Patton blocked and ran back to the Centurion 44.

On Century’s first play after trailing 14-0, Loara lineman Sam Marks sacked Valdez, who suffered a concussion.

According to the Centurion trainer, he was taken to St. Joseph Hospital hospital in Orange as a precautionary measure.

The defeat for Century extends its losing streak to three games. Loara is 4-2, 1-0.
