Soul Music: Jazz fans who prefer their music in a less secular setting can check out the Jazz Vespers programs at All Saints Church in Pasadena, which now includes jazz as a component in its music ministry. Sunday at 5 p.m., the first installment of the 1997-98 season in the sanctuary’s acoustically accurate setting features keyboardist Alan Pasqua’s Trio (with Joel Hamilton, bass; Dick Weller, drums). Other scheduled artists include pianists Billy Childs, Bill Cunliffe and Patrice Rushen and flutist Holly Hofmann.
