Fires damaged two fast-food restaurants Monday night in unrelated incidents.
At 6:52 p.m., firefighters were called to a roof blaze at Little Caesars, 12385 Valley View St., Garden Grove, said fire communications supervisor Gary Gionet. Units from Garden Grove, Anaheim and Orange County had the two-alarm fire out at 8:22 p.m., he said. Damage was contained to the roof and facade, and the cause is under investigation.
Four minutes after that fire started, a kitchen fire was reported at Jack In The Box, 3000 E. Chapman Ave., Orange, Gionet said. City firefighters had the single-alarm blaze under control at 7:06 p.m., he said. The cause in that fire is also under investigation.
