The series will end Nov. 21 with a lecture by Cal State management professor Shao-Ju Lee titled “Taiwan: Joseph or Ruth?”--a reference to biblical characters who decided either to return to their families or live independently. Lee intends to use the theme to discuss whether Taiwan should remain independent from China.

All lectures will be held at 3 p.m. in Room 1214 of the Education Building at 18111 Nordhoff St.
