Horace Mann Gets New Principal
Patricia A. Bales has been named principal of Horace Mann Elementary School, taking over for an unspecified time while Elizabeth Shuck takes a leave of absence.
Bales has been a teacher and administrator in the Santa Ana Unified School District for the past nine years. She holds undergraduate degrees from Cal State Fullerton and a doctorate from USC.
