The Camarillo Health Care District will hold an open house Tuesday to celebrate National Adult Day Services Week and to offer residents health screenings and information about the district’s services.

Representatives from 19 local agencies will answer questions about their services.

Demonstrations of healthy cooking techniques will be presented.

A skin-cancer screening clinic, scheduled by appointment, will be open from 1:15 to 4 p.m., and blood glucose and blood-pressure screenings will be available between 2 and 6 p.m.

“This is to let everyone know what’s available here and that our services are not just for Camarillo residents, but for people countywide,” said district spokeswoman Beth Breyer.
