3 People Wanted by Sheriff’s Investigators

The Ventura County Sheriff Department is asking for help in locating two men and a woman wanted on felony warrants.

Investigators are searching for Desiree Eugenia Hodgson, 44, of Ventura, who is wanted for violating the terms of her probation and for convictions on two drug cases.

Hodgson was last seen in July on Catalina Street driving a 1987 Toyota pickup with license number 3G79439.

She is described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds with green eyes and brown hair.

Her last known address was 420 Catalina St. in Ventura.

Sheriff’s deputies are also looking for Ronnie Eugene Denton, 46, who has convictions for assault with a deadly weapon and making terrorist threats, officials said.

Denton was extradited from Oklahoma for violating the terms of his probation, but was released from the Ventura County Jail in July.

He violated the terms of his probation again, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Denton works as a mechanic and frequents the Ventura Avenue area. His children live with relatives in the Montalvo area, and he drives a red Nissan Sentra, license number 3SPD650.

His last known address was 175 W. Flint St. in Ventura.

Denton is described as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

The third person is Jose Armando Navarro, 28, of Port Hueneme. Navarro is wanted for failing to show up for a scheduled court hearing on drug charges.

He has a previous conviction for petty theft and being under the influence of drugs, officials said.

He is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 225 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on any of the wanted fugitives should call the Ventura County Crime Stoppers’ hotline at 385-TALK or 494-TALK.

Tipsters can call anonymously and if the information leads to an arrest and conviction they could receive rewards of up to $1,000, officials said.
