Florida State junior safety Sean Key pleaded no contest to a felony aggravated battery charge.

Under a plea agreement, Leon County Circuit Court Judge Ralph Smith sentenced Key to 60 days in jail and two years’ probation.

Key, from Miami, will begin serving his jail time on Jan. 5, provided he is still in good standing at Florida State. However, if he is dismissed or expelled from school, he will immediately have to report to jail.
