Griffiths May Leave Epic Records
Record industry veteran Richard Griffiths is expected to step down today as president of Sony Music’s Epic Records division, home to such pop acts as Oasis and Celine Dion. Griffiths, who had three years left on his contract, will be replaced by Polly Anthony, president of Epic’s 550 Music division, sources said. Epic promotion head Craig Lambert is also expected to leave the New York-based company.
