Flintridge Prep 40, Marshall 6--Evan Cablayan rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns in 17 carries for the Rebels at St. Francis High.

Flintridge Prep drove 63 yards on the game’s opening drive and took a 7-0 lead on Cablayan’s one-yard run.

Quarterback J.P. Blecksmith ran one yard for a touchdown in the first quarter and threw a six-yard scoring pass to Peter Twist in the second quarter. Blecksmith completed six of 13 passes for 70 yards and rushed for 20 yards in four carries.

Cablayan ran 53 yards for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to give Flintridge Prep (2-0) a 40-0 lead.

Marshall (0-2) scored on a 94-yard pass from Jesus Carias to Stephen Raynor.

Marshall running back Shaun Davis suffered a back injury late in the second quarter and left the field in an ambulance.
