Wilson Renames Fillmore Grower to State Board

A Fillmore citrus and avocado grower has been reappointed to the State Board of Food and Agriculture.
Montgomery K. Winkler was one of four board members reappointed by Gov. Pete Wilson.
Other reappointments were President John H. Kautz, a wine grape grower in Lodi; Alfred George Montna, a rice grower from Yuba City; and Myron Openshaw, a cattleman and rice grower from Oroville. The agriculture board is made up of 15 members, all appointed by the governor.
