Venture Firm Invests $3.5 Million in OneBOX

OneBOX Networks in Westlake Village announced a $3.5-million investment by Amerscan, an American-Scandinavian venture firm with offices in Oslo, Stockholm, London, New York and Westlake Village.

Martin Albert and Erik Tiller, the U.S.-based managing partners of Amerscan, will sit on OneBOX’s board of directors.

OneBOX, formed in September 1996, develops integrated networking products. The company’s first product, the OneBOX ON 100, allows businesses to connect their Internet, intranet and extranet applications.

“OneBOX is shaping a whole new class of intranet and extranet connectivity products,” said Amerscan’s Albert. “The financial support of Amerscan will enable OneBOX to take full advantage of its competitive edge in the market.”
