Zoo’s 3 New Arrivals Won’t Need Feeding
The lizard looks like a lizard. The tortoise looks like a tortoise.
But they are actually multicolored, concrete statues, which will be dedicated today at the Santa Ana Zoo.
Those statues--and a third, of a frog--are more than 3 feet tall and combined are worth $10,000. The Coca-Cola Co. donated them through its Park Refurbishment Project.
The zoo is at 1801 E. Chestnut Ave.
