Identity of Boy Shot in Head Is Released
The coroner’s office on Monday identified a 15-year-old boy who died after being shot in the head, allegedly by another teenager.
Ezequiel Hernandez, who lived with his three brothers in the 15000 block of Roseton Avenue, died Saturday when a 17-year-old acquaintance allegedly pointed a gun at Hernandez’s head and asked if he was afraid, Sheriff’s Deputy Bob Killeen said. The gun went off. Officials have not determined if the shooting was an accident.
Investigators were still searching for the 17-year-old, whose identity has not been released.
