Magical Arts Show to Honor Magicians
“Seinfeld” co-star Jason Alexander and magician Mark Kornhauser will co-host the 30th anniversary Academy of Magical Arts Awards Show on Saturday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Additional scheduled celebrity participants include actors Robert Hays, Hunter Tylo, Paul Winchell and Neil Patrick Harris, and magicians Lance Burton, Bellamie Blackstone and the Pendragons.
The annual event, which is organized by the Magic Castle, honors magicians in several categories. Mark Kalin & Jinger will be honored as magicians of the year, while Hans and Helga Moretti of Germany will receive the lifetime achievement award.
The black-tie event begins at 6:30 p.m.; tickets are $75 and $125.
