Man, Woman Held in String of Burglaries
A Studio City man and woman were arrested in connection with 14 burglaries in seven cities, including two in Thousand Oaks, authorities said Friday.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, assisted by the Moorpark Police Department, arrested Farzan Talebdost, 22, and Nancy Khalkhali, 39, at a Thousand Oaks home Thursday evening.
Maps, plans, weapons and stolen property were recovered at the residence in the 200 block of Cedar Heights Drive, said Det. Pat MacAuley of the East County Major Crimes Unit.
Bail was set at $250,000 for each suspect. Both were arrested on charges of conspiracy, burglary, assault with a deadly weapon and receiving stolen property.
Talebdost was also arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and Khalkhali on suspicion of possessing a dangerous weapon.
