2 Teenagers Killed, 1 Wounded in Shooting
Police on Wednesday investigated the deaths of two teenagers who were fatally shot behind the Philadelphia Elementary School. A third youth was wounded and treated at a nearby hospital.
Police went to the school late Tuesday afternoon after several people called 911 to report hearing gunshots.
Two of the victims were in critical condition when police arrived and were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
They were identified as Hector Manuel Lopez, 14, and Andres Azocar, 17, both of Pomona.
Police speculated that a disagreement between the youths may have led to the shooting.
“We have several leads that we are investigating,” said Sgt. Gordon Jones.
